New Year's Day has come and gone.
The first week of 2019 was short on work, but still dragged.
Made a list of stuff to organize in the apartment, went through
a corner of stuff that needed to be sorted, cooked some food for lunch,
binged on the Cinema Snob on YouTube (Stoned Gremlin Productions),
and was generally a lump. But I did work on a new piano tune.
The Snob reviews bad movies, not-so-bad movies, religious schlock,
and sometimes porn parodies. I do recommend checking him out. He's got
something for every movie taste.
I took advantage of the New Year's Day sale at Dillard's and Sephora.
Picked up Ole Henriksen skin care and a Lucky Brand watch.
This time of year is the best time to look for designer watches without
paying crazy prices for them.
Snazzy!
I finished the puppet. It does not look really how I want it to,
so I will be redesigning, researching puppet tips, and trying again
in Puppet Project 2.0. Puppet hair is surprisingly tricky...
Finally, I watched the DVD of Bowie at the 2000 Glastonbury Festival.
This arrived in the mail on Wednesday, so it was a great start to the year.
Speaking of Bowie, his birthday is January 8 and Dave Matthews' birthday is
January 9. So, really, y'all understand how that's reason enough for
me to take all of next week off to celebrate.
