On the way out of Bowieland I picked up some "souvenirs".
The first is this Labyrinth inspired sweatshirt.
I found this (really by accident) from a website called
https://icestork.com/. It seemed like a legit website store.
But, I kept my expectations low anyway, because a part of
me was worried the site was a bit dodgy.
However. My sweatshirt arrived quickly and in perfect condition.
Nothing too special about it, aside from the print, but I still like it.
It's great as an around-the-house sweater.
The other "souvenir" was this Reality hoodie from the David Bowie
website. It was a pre-order, but still took forever to arrive. I think the company
misplaced my order or forgot about it because I didn't get a
follow up until after I emailed MusicToday inquiring about the status.
After that, though, it arrived reasonably quickly and also in perfect condition.
The hoodie itself is soft, good quality, and the graphics are embroidered,
which is a nice step-up from screen print.
On one side of the zipper is the anime Bowie from the Reality album cover.
The other side has the logo.
I can't explain why I wanted this, out of all the Bowie merchandise.
But I like it and am pleased with my purchase.
So, now, armed with a new tattoo and cozy Bowie gear,
life can move forward and my mind can roam to new places.
