DMB in Chicago

YAAY!

Day in Chicago with a good friend and a Dave Matthews Band concert!

Took the train into Chicago.

Wandered into Daley Plaza and found a protest.

The protest was part of a nation wide effort to protest the locking of immigrant children in cages. Among other things immigration related.

After meeting up with my friend, we checked into our Airbnb.
It was in the Hyde Park area (a part of Chicago I hadn't really visited yet) and a bit damp and basement-y, but near the concert venue and it was fine.

My friend Dion.
Check out his awesome blog:

We rode Divvy bikes to (and from) the concert. First time for me biking to a concert.
I enjoyed it, once I'd gotten used to riding a bike again (it's been a while). Great workout!

Super fun riding back post-concert, middle of the night, half drunk. Good times!

We had pretty good seats. The band played old and new tunes for at least two and half hours
Dave & Band never disapoints!

Tim Reynolds!

Great view of the Chicago skyline from the Huntington Pavilion.

The mass exodus back into the world
Hop on your bike and head home!
Thanks for a great show Dave & Crew!
